    What does MGI Construction do?

MGI Construction specializes in residential and commercial construction.  MGI Construction’s expertise includes, but is not limited to, construction of custom single-family dwellings, residential remodels and room additions, commercial tenant improvements, retail centers, institutional health care facilities, apartments and townhomes.

MGI Construction also has a small project division within the company.  The small project division performs small jobs ranging from $2,000 to $60,000.

MGI Construction has constructed residential and commercial projects numbering in the hundreds in Orange County, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.  Additionally, MGI Construction builds luxurious multi-million dollar custom spec homes in Park City, Utah.


    What is the first step in going forward with our residential addition?

The first step is to make an appointment with MGI Construction and the architect of your choice.  At this meeting, we can discuss your plans and vision, then analyze your home and evaluate the project.  This evaluation entails value engineering the project and establishing a budget; because MGI Construction acknowledges budget constraints and the limited source of funds and commits to steward them accordingly


    At what point should I contact MGI Construction?

You should contact MGI Construction when you are seriously ready to move forward with your project and need a construction proposal. 


   Does MGI Construction have an architect in-house?

Yes, but you can hire your own architect.


   Does MGI Construction provide a turnkey operation?

Yes.  This means that MGI Construction can provide all preconstruction services through building and finish work.


   Are there jobs that are too small for MGI Construction?

Possibly, but MGI Construction does have a small project division within the company.  The small project division performs small jobs ranging from $2,000 to $60,000.

Yes, MGI Construction can provide all preconstruction services, e.g., represent owner before planning commission and city council to obtain project approval, obtain city permits, construction management, etc.

   Is it possible to split responsibilities with MGI Construction and complete the finish
   work myself?

Yes, MGI Construction is flexible.  MGI Construction can complete the shell and core, and you can complete the finish work.  With that said, MGI Construction usually completes the finish work.

Yes, references are available upon request.
